Collaboration is at the heart of my work process! I enjoy partnering with other freelancers, agencies, and directly with clients. I have a close network of other designers, developers, copywriters, and photographers, which means we can collectively tackle projects of any size. I believe the best work comes from combining diverse perspectives and skills.

Can you work with my existing team or agency?

Absolutely! I’m equally comfortable working directly with clients or slotting into your agency to fill a design or development requirement for specific projects. I’m flexible and can adapt to your team’s workflow and communication style.

Do you have experience with [insert buzzword] framework?

I have experience with various platforms and while I’m proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, I focus on selecting the right technology for each specific project rather than being tied to a particular framework. That said, I often create sites powered by WordPress CMS so my clients have the content control over the website that they need.

Where are you located and do you work remotely?

I’m based in Bristol, UK, but work with clients worldwide. I work remotely for most projects, using video calls and collaborative tools to maintain clear communication. For local clients, face-to-face meetings can be arranged when beneficial.

Brand identity projects typically take 4-6 weeks

Is there anything unique about your approach to design?

I tend to spend longer in the discovery and planning stage than some of my contemporaries. From experience I’ve found that this helps to solidify and focus the aims and purpose of the work, and always results in a stronger outcome. By creating thoughtful, strategic work that connects with your desired audience and helps achieve your goals. I prioritise understanding your values and mission to ensure the visual identity or website truly represents who you are and where you want to be.

So it is ‘AD’ or ‘Andrew’?

I answer to either. Andrew is my real name; AD (pronounced like the letters, ay-dee) was a nickname given to me in primary school and has stuck ever since.
